- 2 cups chopped carrots
- 2 cups chopped celery
- 4 cups vegetable broth
- 2 cups diced potatoes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- salt and pepper to taste
