Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice

  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Stir in milk and melted butter until just combined.
  4. Fold in lemon juice and lemon zest.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle additional sugar on top of the batter.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving, dust with powdered sugar.
