These banana oatmeal bars are a perfect healthy snack, packed with taste and nutrition!

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
  3. Add oats, honey, vanilla, nuts and chocolate chips. Mix well.
  4. Spread the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.

Notes

  • For added flavor, cinnamon can be included.
  • These bars can be easily frozen for later use.
