  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and baking powder.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
  6. Roll out the dough and cut it into rectangles.
  7. Place a spoonful of strawberry jam in the center of half the rectangles.
  8. Place the remaining rectangles on top and seal the edges.
  9. Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Let cool, then drizzle with a mixture of powdered sugar and milk.
