  • 2 cups cherries, pitted
  • 3 cups heavy whipped cream
  • 1 cup cherry tart filling
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 ounces dark chocolate, grated

Instructions

  1. Cut the chocolate cake into small cubes.
  2. In a trifle dish, layer half of the cake cubes on the bottom.
  3. Add half of the cherry filling over the cake.
  4. Whip the cream with sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form and spread half over the cherries.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients, finishing with whipped cream on top.
  6. Sprinkle the grated chocolate over the whipped cream as a garnish.
