  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup raisins (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk and let it sit for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt.
  3. Add milk mixture, butter, and eggs to the dry ingredients, then knead into a soft dough.
  4. Let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
  5. Roll the dough out and spread with melted butter, then sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Roll into a log and cut into rolls.
  6. Place rolls in a greased baking pan and let rise again for 30 minutes.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
