Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups peeled and diced apples

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine sugar and melted butter. Stir in eggs and vanilla.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  5. Fold in the diced apples.
  6. Pour batter into a greased loaf pan.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool before slicing.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
  • This bread freezes well. Wrap tightly and freeze for up to three months.
